I am extremely happy that the word "family", as used in the title of this
dentistry's name. It is INDEED relevant and MEANINGFUL. From my MANY visits, dating back to more than 10 years, I have NEVER seen a patient being treated any less than "FAMILY" - hence the appropriateness of the name.
That being said, I give myself the liberty to say that all 20+ members of my
family who have been attending here for years, always enjoy our experience at
Dr. Sonia Sharma's Family Dentistry. It seems like it is the nature of the owners
to be polite, kind, respectful, and professional - virtues displayed by Dr.
Sharma's husband, her daughter, and her staff.
I do not find this dentistry to be money minded. In fact it is very
accommodating. At two other dentistal offices, we missed two appointments and
had to pay. While we need to be more responsible, kids sicknesses don't alert
you until they are there. Further, managers' impromptu meetings prove to be
hindrances to appointments, which one cannot get around. At Dr. Sharma's
dentistry, understanding in these situations have been astounding. NEVER were
we charged for missing an appointment.
This dentistry also offer support for community events, like sponsoring sports
club etc. And it encourages it patients to do well, an experience that I have
personally had. Dr. Sharma and Mr. Rakesh Sharma (her husband), without
questioning or raising an eyebrow bought FIVE of my novel in support of my
first fiction (a psychological-thriller called Countenance of a Killer available on Amazon). Mr. Rakesh decided that he would donate three to the library.
It is truly regrettable that there aren't more dental offices like Dr. Sonia Sharma's own. If you are looking for an office, I think that they have a few located throughout the GTA and Peel regions.
